ABOUT
LOTUS PSYCHOLOGY
Lotus Psychologie takes its name from the lotus, a flower that grows in muddy, dark waters but blooms into a beautiful flower at the surface. This metaphor perfectly reflects the philosophy behind our therapeutic approach: helping individuals overcome life's difficulties, traumas, and challenges to emerge stronger, more fulfilled, and at peace with themselves. Each individual possesses the capacity to grow and flourish, even in the most adverse conditions.
At Lotus Psychologie, we believe that everyone, at their own pace, can achieve authentic transformation. Just like the lotus, which transcends troubled waters to bloom as a symbol of renewal and beauty, we are committed to supporting our clients through every step of their journey toward lasting well-being. We offer a safe and compassionate space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and the experiences that shape them, to find concrete and personalized solutions to their challenges.
Through an approach that integrates techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices, combined with empathetic listening, we help our clients develop coping skills, strengthen their resilience, and build a more balanced life. Whether they are navigating transitional periods, overcoming trauma, or improving their quality of life, our clients are supported at every stage of their journey.

APPROACH
We use a third-wave cognitive-behavioral approach, integrating principles from mindfulness and acceptance. Our approach is transdiagnostic, meaning it applies to various psychological issues, regardless of the specific diagnosis. It is based on an evolving conceptualization of psychology, which takes into account the complexity of human experiences and the interaction between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors over time.
Rather than trying to directly change or control unwanted thoughts, emotions, or behaviors, we focus on how the individual interacts with these aspects of their experience. Our goal is to help people cultivate a healthier and more flexible relationship with their thoughts and emotions, promoting self-acceptance and presence in the moment. This approach reduces the struggle against uncomfortable internal experiences and enhances the ability to live in harmony with one's core values.
We emphasize compassionate acceptance, curiosity, and non-judgment to develop greater self-awareness and openness to experience. We practice techniques such as mindfulness, grounding, and meditation, which help strengthen the connection to the present moment and promote a calmer approach to managing emotions and stress.
Through this approach, clients learn to navigate their personal challenges with more flexibility, find meaning in their experiences, and engage more authentically in their daily lives.
